[Prague, 11.11.2023] – The very first streamers tournament in Counter-Strike 2, CEE Champions: Streamers Edition, is set to take the gaming world by storm, bringing together the top Counter-Strike streamers from Central and Eastern Europe, including Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, and Bulgaria, for a thrilling competition. This unique event combines the excitement of esports with the entertainment of streaming, promising an unforgettable experience for both players and fans alike.
Guidelines and Schedule:
The event is scheduled to culminate in a grand finale on December 6, 2023. The tournament is divided into three distinct stages:
- Drafting Stage (25.10.2023 – 12.11.2023): During this phase, streamers will have a chance to assess the strongest team possible. The ground zero of potential success!
- Training Phase (12.11.2023 – 2.12.2023): This crucial phase involves two training sessions and two preparation matches. Training sessions will be streamed publicly. The preparation matches will feature a BO1 format, with influencers’ teams battling it out in public streams. Opponents will be decided by an official draw on November 20th, 2023.
- Mainstage (3. – 6.12.2023): In the Grand Finale we will see the teams fighting in a group stage featuring a round-robin BO1 format. The 5th and 6th ranked teams will be eliminated, the rest will advance to an intense single-elimination playoff round with BO3 matches.
Prize Pool and Distribution:
The event boasts a total prize pool of $15,000 USD, along with exciting community giveaway for the fans of the winning team. The distribution is as follows:
- 1st Place: $10,000 USD + COMMUNITY GIVEAWAY for the fans of the winner (Total value: $15,000 USD)
- 2nd Place: $3,000 USD
- 3rd Place: $2,000 USD
