Groups C, D, F and H will start the carousel of fights for the playoffs between October 11 and 15.
The second season of CEE Champions, which offers a total prize pool of $20,000 for 32 teams, is finally getting to start. All participants were divided into eight groups with a BO1 double-elimination bracket, from which two teams will advance to the single-elimination playoff, which means 16 in total. Each will be played separately, and we will now go through the first four on the program!
Group C – October 11
Marten Gaming vs. SACRAMENTO – 17:00 CEST
Sampi.Tipsport vs. CONTENTPLANET – 18:00 CEST
The first blood of the second season will be shed in group C. Marten Gaming and SACRAMENTO will come first, and the first team of players from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, who managed to torment the Russian forZe team a week ago, should be more favored in the fight.
Sampi.Tipsport and CONTENT PLANET will fly to the server right after them to determine who will become the group’s second finalist. We give more chances to the young Czech team, which is led by the experienced Richard “queztone” Strnátko, but they will have to be very careful about their Slovenian opponent because they also want to succeed.
Group D – October 13
Infinite Gaming vs. WL Gaming – 17:00 CEST
Qeveriakurti vs. 0to100 – 18:00 CEST
In group D, the biggest favorites will probably be the shooters from Infinite Gaming. Romanians often go around the European exams, for example, recently they advanced to the EDC, where they defeated SKADE – our biggest favorite for the title.
In the first match, the Greeks from WL Gaming will want to torment them, on the cheeky side we can expect a balanced duel between Qeveriakurti and 0to100.
Group F – October 14
Entropiq Prague vs. iNation – 17:00 CEST
Aftermath vs. Daugava – 18:00 CEST
Group F looks very interesting. Entropiq Prague and iNation will compete for the first time and both teams will want to win here. The honest shooters of the ambitious Entropiq organization want to break through with analyst Allan “Rejin” Petersen, a former mousesports coach, in Europe, but the fully Serbian team wants the same and we expect a bloody duel.
On the other hand, the Aftermath from Montenegro will face the Latvian Daugava, where we are curious what both teams will show us.
Group H – October 15
Skuak vs. Akuma – 17:00 CEST
SKADE vs. BEE – 18:00 CEST
And finally, we get to the biggest favorites of our entire tournament from group H! SKADE, as the 21st team in the world, has been a long-term part of Tier 2-3 scene, they play with well-known names and in terms of the HLTV rankings, they are simply clear favorites. The Ukrainian team Akuma also played the role of a big favorite, but it is not long ago that the players announced their team break-up. Anyway, this will be the last ride for them, so we hope that they will show us their great qualities one last time.
Luck didn‘t smile at the Skunk and BEE teams during the draw, but perhaps they will not be intimidated and will cause trouble for the favorite.
